Bear Waterfall, Assy Plateau
Asy or Assy is a plateau in the Enbekshikazakh district of the Almaty region between the Turgen gorge and the Bartogai Reservoir. The length from east to west is about 40 km, the width is about 7 km. From the north, the plateau is bounded by the Karach ridge and the Bokaidyntau mountains, and from the south by the Sarytau ridge.
The Turgen Gorge is located in the Ile-Alatau National Park, 70 kilometers from the city of Almaty. On the territory of the Turgen Gorge there is the Kiela-Bulak spring and the Golden Man statue, an ostrich farm, a trout farm, the Bear and Kairak waterfalls, the Chinturgen spruce forest, the Turgen River and Kishi Turgen and much more.
Bear Falls is located in the Enbekshikazakh district of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan in the Turgen Gorge. Falls from a height of about 30 meters. Located on the southern slope of the Karash ridge, on a stream flowing from under the Zhambas pass. The waterfall is located at an altitude of 1530-1550 meters above sea level. The name of the waterfall is not accidental; brown bears used to live in these places.
